The Huiling Special Primary School is for children aged between four and fifteen years old, who are moderately to severely mentally disabled. The school provides training, education and residence for students during the week.

In our school each student is treated as an individual, with individual skills, and individual needs. An individualized education plan is made for each student, to ensure that each student reaches his or her maximum potential. Students use learning materials specially designed for people with learning disabilities. Courses taught at the school include general knowledge, physical exercises and games, mother language and history, math, music, arts and crafts, communications and self care. Aimed at students with autism, the school uses Finnish Structured Teaching Method---Picture Education.

The students usually graduate at fifteen years old and this diploma will allow them to go to the Huiling Training Centre, Huiling Sheltered Workshop or to The Care Residential Home, depending on their ability.

The school is in located 1st floor, Block 22, in Huilya Garden, New Guangcong 2nd Highway, Guangzhou (510540), in and environment that is ideal for students with learning difficulties.
