Guangzhou Huiling made the last week of the 2007 “Huiling’s Thanksgiving Week”. A team of teachers and students from Guangzhou Huiling set off on 27/12/2007 with the purpose of searching for love. The team received a warm reception from the Guangdong Provincial CPPCC member, Hao Meng, Maersk (China) Shipping Co. Ltd., Pepsi (China) Ltd., the Italian consulate in Guangzhou and the Davinci Collection.

Mr.Meng Hao was very concerned about the living and learning conditions of Huiling students. “The members of Huiling should enjoy nine years of compulsory education”,  his words touched all the members present. Maersk’s representative, Mr. Wang, said that their company members will pay more attention to the needs of the Huiling’s handicapped people. When the students gave the flowers to him, the Davinci Collection representative sent umbrellas and 2008 calendars to Huiling students. Pepsi (China) Ltd. had already sent gifts to Huiling students and asked the students to study hard and cooperate with the teachers.
